We are on the hunt for a highly analytical staff accountant to join our family.
Your expertise in financial reporting, account reconciliation, and financial accounting will be key in driving our financial success and growth.
Responsibilities:
Prepare accurate and timely financial reports and statements while ensuring compliance with all regulatory, accounting, and audit requirements.
Conduct monthly and quarterly account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance.
Coordinate, complete and oversee job-related activities and assignments for accounting.
Review and improve accounting systems and procedures.
Develop and implement cost-effective procedures and systems to maximize operating efficiency.
Coordinate with the finance team to complete assigned accounting tasks within deadlines.
Evaluate financial documents for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company standards.
Analyze financial data and prepare reports for management, financial partners and regulators.
Support month-end and year-end close process.
Develop periodic reports for management.
Audit financial transactions and document accounting control procedures.
Keep up with financial policies, regulation and legislation.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
In-depth knowledge of Financial Reporting, Account Reconciliation, and Financial Accounting.
Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel) and accounting software.
Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to direct and supervise.
Knowledge of accounting best practices, laws, standards, and state/national regulations.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Strong time management and organizational skills.
Ability to handle high volumes of data.
Self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
CPA or CMA certification would be considered a plus.
