Shift Lead (South Region)

Responsibilities:

The Contractor shall provide Shift Leads at each site who are the most senior person responsible for security guard services for 24/7 hour supervision. TheShift Lead(s) is a person designated in writing by the Contractor, possessing authority to supervise and train subordinate guards working at their assigned location. The Contractor shall propose Shift Lead(s) who have experience in security or law enforcement operations in the Armed Forces/military police or civilian security operations including some supervisory/leader experience. The Shift Lead(s) will work as a uniformed guard and are subject to the physical fitness standards identified in TE-2. The Shift Lead shall maintain a log of all calls, complaints, incidents, deviations from schedule, and similar actions taking place on their shift and report them to the unit s chain of command as prescribed in the siteStandard Operating Procedure (SOP). The Shift Lead(s) shall have full authority to act for the Contractor on matters concerning the performance of this contract at the installation while on duty. The Shift Lead(s) shall be available within two hours after notification to meet withGovernment personnel designated by the Contracting Officer to discuss performance issues, unusual security conditions, and specialized tasking. The Shift Lead(s) shall report to the RPC for the conduct, performance, appearance, training, and scheduling of all individuals employed and shall supervise all personnel required to perform security guard services during his/her duty shift. The Shift Lead shall coordinate with the Installation Command Security Officer (CSO), or his/her representative, for the operational functions and duties required for his/her shift.

Qualifications

Must be 21 years of age or older. Must be 21 years of age to be armed. Must be a citizen of the United States. Must possess a valid automobile driver s license (all positions herein may require the use of a motor vehicle). Have no record or history of illegal drug use, sale, possession, or manufacture during the previous five years. Drug testing screening will be conducted prior to hiring an employee. Annual drug testing is conducted.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
